  Notes	Drowned in the Lievre River. From Evelyn Burke re Michael's death The family was living on a farm on the west side of the Lievre River at a time when there was no bridge at La Salette to cross the river. Michael had taken the family across the river on a raft to attend Sunday mass. he returned home to retrieve something but did not come back to town to fetch the family. His body was found in the river. The theory is that he lost his balance, fell off the raft and drowned. The first bridge, covered, was built about 1927.
